Pressure Products · Model SBN Series (071/089/098, Curve 0/1)
Blunt-tipped transseptal needle used with the SafeSept guidewire to reduce insertion force during septal puncture.
The SafeSept Blunt Needle replaces a traditional transseptal needle for creating the primary puncture in the interatrial septum, used together with the SafeSept Transseptal Guidewire for right-to-left heart access. Its blunt tip requires substantially more force to puncture tissue than a standard needle, and insertion force is further reduced when used over the SafeSept guidewire.
